WHOLE WHEAT PIZZA

 





INGREDIENTS: (Serves 2)
FOR DOUGH-
  • 1 cup whole wheat Atta
  • 1/8th tablespoon of baking soda
  • 1/2 tablespoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar powder

FOR TOPPINGS
  • Pizza sauce
  • Garlic Butter (If not available, make it using butter & 4-5 chopped garlic & heat for 1 minute in a pan)
  • 1/4th cup capsicum sliced
  • 1/4th cup onion sliced
  • 1/4th cup soya chunks
  • 1/4th cup tomato
  • Oregano
  • Chilli flakes
  • Mozzarella cheese


METHOD:

  • At first, prepare the dough by mixing all the ingredients mentioned above, knead a nice dough.
  • let the dough set for 5 minutes.
  • Now heat a pan, put 2 tablespoons of butter & chopped garlic in it, after 1 minute off the flame.
  • Take out the garlic butter in a small bowl and leave few in the pan.
  • Turning the flame on, add sliced capsicum, carrot, soya, oregano and toss it on a high flame for 1 minute, veggie toppings is prepared.
  • Add the sliced onion after turning the flame off.
  • Now grease the base with garlic butter & take a portion of the dough & spread it with hands on the base. Base can be a oven base or any steel plate also if baking in a kadhai.
  • Use fork to make few holes in the wheat dough base, spread the pizza sauce on it.
  • If pizza sauce is not available, make it at home - take 3 spoons of tomato sauce, add 1/4th spoon of herbs, chilli flakes, chilli sauce 1/2 spoon, garlic butter 1/2 spoon & mix it well, pizza sauce is ready.
  • Now add mozzarella cheese on the wheat dough base.
  • To it arrange the veggie toppings.
  • FOR BAKING- If baking in a microwave , bake for 5-6 minutes.  If baking in a kadhai, take a kadhai, put a small stand or ant steel bowl and cover with a lid & preheat for 10 minutes on a low flame.
  • Once it gets preheated, place the plate & cover it, observe after 7-8 minutes.
  • Tempting healthy wheat Pizza is ready to be served, add oregano, chilli flakes with tomato ketchup.
