Ingredients:
1. Watermelon peel / raw papaya - chopped 1 bowl
2. 1 cup sugar
3. 3-4 drops vanilla essence / 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
5. Food colours - Red, green, yellow, orange
6. 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar
Method:
1. If using watermelon, peel off the dark green area & chop it into small cubes.
2. Raw papaya can also be used, peel off the upper area, & chop it into small cubes.
3. Then boil the chopped cubes in water for 8-10 minutes.
4. Once it becomes a lil transparent, drain out the water in a sieve and let it cool.
5. Now take 1 cup sugar, add 1 Cup water ad boil, once the sugar dissolves, add the chopped material into it.
6. Boil it in sugar syrup for 8-10 minutes. Note: sugar syrup should not be thick & sticky.
7. Now let it cool for 5 minutes & add vanilla essence or cardamom powder.
8. Take 4 different bowls, pour the material into different bowls, avoid excess sugar syrup.
9. Now add food colours into different bowls, and mix it well, let it set for 5 minutes.
10. Take plate, cover it with foil paper, and spread the coloured Tutti frutti and dry it in sunlight.
11. Once it gets completely dry, take it out in a bowl, add 1/2 teaspoon powdered sugar, mix it well , and store the delicious Tutti frutti in a container.
12. Use it in any dessert, cake or sweet toppings or as a mouthfreshner.
